e-bulletin 28th May: Anticipating Pentecost

Welcome to the e-bulletin for Pentecost (Whit Sunday)

Another great Church celebration which we shall have to mark virtually. We pray again for the coming of the Holy Spirit on our communities, empowering us and inspiring us for our Christian journey. Not a Bank holiday this coming Monday, although they feel almost redundant, but hopefully we can enjoy the weekend, as May draws to a close.

The Collect for Pentecost

God, who as at this time
taught the hearts of your faithful people
by sending to them the light of your Holy Spirit:
grant us by the same Spirit
to have a right judgement in all things
and evermore to rejoice in his holy comfort;
through the merits of Christ Jesus our Saviour,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
Amen.

Zoom Worship

Zoom Church meets on Sunday at 10.30am for a Celebration of Pentecost, when Fr Michael will be our preacher.

If you are a ‘Zoomer’ and would like to read, lead intercessions or be the Respondent on behalf of the congregation for future services (and I haven’t already heard from you), please let us know at heartofnorfolkchurches@gmail.com. It would be good to draw up a rota (!), rather than plan week-by-week.

We have produced a laminated poster about Zoom Church, which will be put up on church noticeboards in the next few days.
